As in previous years, the Heritage Centre takes an active part in this City wide event. This year’s theme celebrates the Olympics with the Heritage Centre looking at the year 1948 – when the Olympics were last staged in London.
There is free admission to the Exhibition area which will feature:
The ground floor Coffee Shop will have 1940’s ‘Specials’ on the menu and on Sunday there will be a 1940’s Tea Dance.
Guided Spire climbs will be available during the weekend (sorry no children under 10 years. A small charge applies – e.g. £2.75 adult).

JUDGE YE NOT – THE LIFE & TIMES OF A JUDGE
Judge Mark Eades has been a County Court Judge for 10 years and a Barrister for over 20 years. This is a rare opportunity to meet a Circuit Court Judge and to gain an insight into the challenges and responsibilities of his working life. Although not permitted to wear his robes outside of Court he will be bringing them to show us.
The evening concludes with a cheese & biscuits supper including a glass of wine.

VICTORIAN ECCENTRIC – CHANCELLOR LAW WHAT DID HE DO FOR LICHFIELD?
This fascinating story from Lichfield’s history will be brought to life by costumed performers.
Performances take place at 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, & 3pm

Whole day workshops with local artist Mary Bailey who will help children (age 7+) to create beautiful papers which they will use in a variety of ways.
All materials provided. Booking Essential & please bring a packed lunch

Come in from the cold and join our volunteers who will be telling the fascinating stories behind some of the objects not normally on display in the Exhibition.
Between 1.30pm & 3.00pm.
Included in the usual Exhibition admission charge.
