The wonderful new exhibition brings to life the rich history of Lichfield from Roman times to the present day. We offer study packages for every curriculum period, tailored to the requirements of each school.

Girls in Muniment Room

Group activities, organised and led by Centre teaching staff, using equipment and material provided by the Centre.

Evidence Based Learning - using:-

Documents - looking at original documents to find evidence about the past. Writing with a quill or pen.
Information gathering - from the exhibition.
Artefact collections - handling artefacts and facsimiles from the study period.
Guided outdoor trails - to find where the historical events took place.
Case studies - of local people and events
AV presentations
Buildings - study the methods and materials used in the buildings of Lichfield city centre from Tudor timber framed to present day.

Charges - Half day - £2.00 per child, Full day - £3.00 per child, accompanying adults free.
